Originally hired as a Loan Closer (coordinates with Title the closing process the final loan figures, balances, and wires the money to closing), he also moved through a variety of roles after that, including post-closing management, client relations, pipeline management, and other customer service roles. Through those positions, he really saw a lack of communication by Loan Originators/Brokers to their clients. People were bemoaning to him often that they never could get in touch with their Loan Originator/Broker. Having to apologize on behalf of the Loan Originator/Broker for nothing he did wrong really pushed Tim’s buttons. So, right there he saw a need. Tim decided to take the plunge and obtain his Mortgage Loan Originator License. That was just the beginning, however.

Tim knew there was a incredible need for beginning to end contact with the customer. Not just take an application and push you to another person; instead he sought to provide white-glove high-touch service throughout the process. Unfortunately, not all lenders are set-up like that. Most are the equivalent of puppy mills. Tim felt uncomfortable being an originator in a system that was archaic and behind the times, but more importantly, he was not able to thrive as he sought to do.
