The founders, Gus Goldsmith & Jerry Bouchard, partners for over 25 years, have participated in several entrepreneurial ventures since 1988. Both gentlemen spent their careers in various branches of consumer finance. Previous operations have been sold to large publicly held corporations. Both men are committed to maintaining the highest credit ratings and adhere to all lending regulations. Their companies have always maintained a very positive reputation in the financial community. References are always available. The HardMoney Company was a result of both gentlemen realizing a large gap for “fast and flexible” funding to the fix/flip market. Loan demand for their “speedy” financing has dictated the HardMoney Company’s expansion into acquisition, bridge, and cash-out funding.
Initially, the company concentrated in the Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio markets. Market demand led the company’s expansion to the mid-Atlantic region, with a corporate base located in the Washington, DC metro area. Since 2015, southern Florida has become the HardMoney Company’s largest market for lending. Corporate headquarters recently relocated its operation to Aventura, Florida.

CloseLTV is the abbreviation of Loan To Value, and it is the ratio between the Loan Amount and the Property Value. The formula to calculate LTV is Loan Amount divided by the property value.
