The Omaha Public Power District Employees Federal Credit Union (OPPD EFCU) was established in 1938 as a nonprofit financial cooperative for the employees of the Omaha Public Power District and their families. We are member owned and operated under the direction of an elected volunteer board made up of OPPD employees. We strive to promote thrift by offering competitive rates to our members.

To join and become a member, we need a completed Account Card, a copy of an OPPD ID or a Driver's License, and for minor children a Birth Certificate, and a minimum deposit of $5.00.

Our field of membership includes all full-time employees, retirees, and their immediate families. “Members of their Immediate Families” includes spouse, children, grandchildren, stepchildren, and adoptive relationships. We also have a “once a member, always a member” policy so accounts can be maintained with a minimum balance if retired or no longer with OPPD.

To learn more about the Credit Union, stop by the office in Energy Plaza East or call us at 531-226-3177.
