Home Mortgage Alliance Corporation (HMAC) was founded, with one primary goal in mind: to become the largest direct lender in the country!

First, HMAC must have unlimited growth potential. In order to achieve this, there should be a dedication to ensuring that there is large capital infusion which can help promote warehouse line capacity, start-up capital, and reserves that are required by the state and agencies guidelines (100mm of warehouse capacity was established with the ability to triple with a simple signature).

The final step is to expand our 44 state approval nationwide. By developing multiple state approvals this will enable HMAC to compete in all of the high profiting states.

What next after achieving all of the above? Will HMAC become like the rest?

• Will we compete directly with CashCall, LoanDepot, Green Light Mortgage, Quicken Loan, and other mortgage lenders, by advertising nationwide and hiring hundreds of Loan Originators (LO)? NO! Although we have the capital, we may not have the expertise to compete with such lenders on their level.

• Will we become like the hundreds of branch operation lenders that want to spread their name by hiring everyone that can originate a loan per quarter and calling each a branch while having them all compete against one another? NO! That type of business model hinders success by having partners compete with the low achievers within their own company.

The HMAC Solution

When the phrase “PARTNERSHIP” was brought up in a brainstorming session, a moment of inspiration emerged within the leadership team. Who could help educate and advise on mortgage loans better than an existing originator? If HMAC expanded its business network and gave a team of originators access to their resources, they discovered that the sky would be the limit for their business growth. In order to achieve success, a true partnership has to be established and that is the objective at HMAC.
