ACBA FCU was established in 1939 as a savings and lending institution that offers financial services to the Department of Public Welfare workers and their family members in Allegheny County, PA. For the past 70 years, our philosophy has been: real service to real folks who want fair dividends for their savings and access to lending services.


ACBA Federal Credit Union was established in 1939 as a savings and lending institution that offers financial services to the Department of Public Welfare workers and their family members in Allegheny County, PA.



Today, individuals can become members if they are a state, county, municipal or borough employee in Allegheny County, PA. Family members of these employees are also able to join. Currently, the Credit Union serves approximately 1, 750 state and local workers and their families.
