Security Financial Services was established July 10, 2006. My name is Mark Hemingway and I am the owner and President of Security Financial Services. I have an extensive background working in Corporate America as well as the financial industry. I began my career in the computer industry in 1986 working for computer resellers as well as a 5 year career with Microsoft from 1990 to 1995. From 1995 to 2000 I worked for American Megatrends working as a sales rep and project manager to develop computer software for companies such as NEC and Samsung Electronics in Japan From 2000 to 2003 I was Vice President of a Mobile Phone Software company and my primary accounts were LG Electronics and Sony Ericsson. Also had a business relationship with SprintPCS.
Then In 2003 I moved to the financial industry when i had a job opportunity in Colorado. It was a tough decision to leave the computer industry as as I have a major in Business Management and have a minor in Computer Science from the University of Georgia. From 2003 to 2006 I worked for a Wholesale Mortgage Lender and gained much experience at this level. I was able to understand how lenders operate and how they underwrite and approve loans. I then brought that knowledge on how to close loans and help customers get what they want and decided to establish my own Mortgage Company.
In July 2006 I made that decision to start Security Financial Services. Because of my experience working in the wholesale channel for a lender, I am able to simplify the loan process and still meet all federal and state agency requirements of the loan application and closing and funding process.
