Amistad Bank was purchased and formed in 2003 by the Eden Financial Corporation. In 2009, the bank began a major remodel of its facility, basically demolishing almost all of the previous building. On February 1, 2010 management and staff moved into our brand new 6, 000+ square foot building. The new bank building is designed to reflect the border architecture of stucco mission design. The interior complements traditional Spanish design with colorful artwork depicting wildlife of the area.
