KEMBA Financial Credit Union was founded in 1933 as the credit union for the employees of The Kroger Company, and stands for Kroger Employee Mutual Benefits Association. The original branch was inside the Kroger Bakery downtown, and in 1971 was relocated to East Broad Street in Whitehall.

The original branch was inside the Kroger Bakery downtown, and in 1971 was relocated to East Broad Street in Whitehall, and moved into our current Gahanna home in 2006. Today we continue to serve Kroger associates, but also employees of more than 175 additional area companies, plus anyone who lives, works or worships in Franklin, Delaware, Madison, Logan, Fairfield, Licking, and Union Counties.



Currently, we have 11 branches across Central Ohio, along with complete Digital Banking services, automated telephone banking, and more than 50, 000 surcharge-free ATMs and over 5, 500 shared branching locations nationwide.
