California Adventist Federal Credit Union (CAFCU) was organized in 1952 as the first Seventh-day Adventist Credit Union in the country. Its charter allows us to serve Adventist Church members and the employees of any and all Adventist Church or Church Member owned business of all sizes and types.

Its charter allows us to serve Adventist Church members and the employees of any and all Adventist Church or Church Member owned business of all sizes and types. The Credit Union now touches thousands of present and past members all over the globe each year. Membership is open to individuals who wish to join but you must initially reside in California. Once a member, you can move and still be a member even through your move out of California. Our minimum dollar amount to open your membership is $152.00. $150.00 for the savings account and $2.00 is the fee necessary to process your paperwork. For privileges such as loans and services, beyond a savings account, the opening minimum is $252.00. Again the $2.00 is to process the paperwork. The third card is necessary and must be filled out for individuals wishing to establish a joint account.
