Granger National Bank is the oldest banking establishment in Granger; founded in 1920. The current bank building was erected shortly thereafter in 1924. Granger National Bank survived the stock market crash in 1929 and the ensuing depression of the early thirties. Successful decades passed and the bank celebrated its centennial year in 2020.

Locally owned and operated; Chairman of the Board George Heger acquired control of the bank in 1973. Other directors are John Simcik, Tim Vrabel, Sr., Dr William Pavlat, Ted Kallus, Michael Heger, and Bank President Dan Johnson. Advisory directors include Gail Heger, Randall Schwertner, Elizabeth Novak, and John Pavelka.
