Barri began as a family business founded in 1984. For many years, its stores were located solely in the city of Houston, serving a small segment of the Hispanic community in Texas. Until 2006 when a group of investors saw the great opportunity for growth and development that the company offered.
Today, Barri has grown and expanded throughout the state of Texas and into neighboring states such as Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, New Mexico, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida. With hundreds of locations, and growing daily, the company and its employees are always looking for opportunities to make life easier for customers in this country, and serve them with the warmth that characterizes Hispanic culture.
