Mortgage Factory Inc. and own 100% of the company. Our dba name is Mortgages Direct and we have been an accredited member of the Better Business Bureau in Houston since 1993. We work diligently to maintain an A+ rating with them. I am proud of the fact that the company has survived and done well all these years... through the financial crises and boom times alike. Since we began operations we have helped a lot of great people finance their homes and we have been fortunate to also employ many wonderful and talented people.
Personally I am also blessed to have a beautiful, kind, caring, intelligent daughter who is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin this fall. She also currently has a part-time job at the law firm of Flahive, Ogden & Latson and plans to attend law school beginning in the fall of 2017. As a Type 1 diabetic she has to work very hard to monitor and maintain her health... unfortunately that means taking numerous insulin shots every day. For her and all others with this condition, we're hoping and praying that a cure will be found soon. Thankfully she is doing great and I am very proud of her. Accordingly, our preferred charities are Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Salvation Army and Lakewood Church.
If given only one sentence to summarize what I think I know about life, I would say that family and friends are everything, kindness is the most important human virtue and we are all here to learn and grow and help others
