Prior to moving to Colorado and starting Family Mortgage, John enjoyed a successful career in banking for 15 years with his last position as a Regional President with Suntrust Banks in Florida. He enjoys photography, hiking, camping, golfing, cooking, volunteering in the community, and spending time with family and friends. John is a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church where he has served on many committees including past Chairman of the Finance Council, Chairman of the Annual Golf Benefit and on the annual Church Festival committee. He is a past Director for the Loveland Chamber of Commerce, as well as a Chamber Ambassador. His current and past involvement with civic and charitable organizations include Rotary, United Way, Junior Achievement, Tampa Mentor Program, Walk America, Loveland Elks Lodge, the Coalition of Loveland for Education Awareness and Resources, Alternatives to Violence, Loveland's Community Kitchen and many others. "Loveland 365, the People, Places and Things That Make Loveland America's Sweetheart City, " was a book published in 2011 which highlighted John's love for his community and the people in it. All proceeds from the sale of the book went back to local charities and non-profits to better the community. John and Family Mortgage's philosophy is simple.
