Priority Federal Credit Union was originally founded on September 28, 1967 as Pope County Educators Federal Credit Union with the idea of serving Pope County Schools and Arkansas Tech University.

Through constant growth, we have added participating groups throughout the region and expanded the services offered to our membership. In order to offer more services to our community and to further expand our membership base, the Board of Directors elected to change the name of the credit union. On January 9, 2006, we officially began using the name Priority Federal Credit Union.

Our new building, located at 430 North Hampton, now has the convenience of drive-thru and ATM services.
