The Bank of Beaver City was chartered in 1902, five years before Oklahoma statehood, by a group of local businessmen to provide much needed banking services to the Beaver, Oklahoma area. The Bank expanded in 2007 by constructing the Liberal Banking Center in nearby Liberal, KS. This made two full service banking locations to meet customer needs.

The Grant County State Bank was chartered in 1907. It endured the Great Depression of the 1930s and remained a bulwark through the 1980s, when U.S. banks were failing at record rates. Our History The Valley State Bank was chartered on July 5, 1905, when the Beaty family, who had extensive holdings in Kansas and neighboring Colorado, realized that a financial institution was needed in the area.
