We are looking to get a construction loan to build 2 houses, one on each of our farms/land, which are adjacent to each other. Once the construction is done, we will flip this loan into a mortgage. We already have the permits and plans. We've been working with a lender who now says their investor won't do the loan because the house plans are to be solar with battery backup. We had an engineer compose a study, and it would cost $100k to install Luma power, which we all know is a joke. The solar and battery are a better value add to the asset. Our credit and debt-to-income ratios are fantastic! Let's do business and build a couple of homes!
