At 9:00 P.M. on January 28th, 1946, our credit union was chartered as Manhattan CO-OP Credit Union and held its first monthly meeting of the Board of Directors. In an effort of helping even more Manhattan citizens, the credit union was moved to the university.
The credit union changed its name to College Credit Union.

Dickinson County Bank The Dickinson County Bank of Enterprise, Kansas was chartered on June 2, 1894 as a result of a financial panic in 1887 that closed several area banks in Abilene, Hope, and Enterprise. The demand for banking was high and the bank was established to meet this demand.

Bank of the Flint Hills, was chartered in 1876. Experiencing steady growth for the next 70 years, the bank moved it's location in 1972 one-half block west to a new, larger, and more modern building. In the early 90's more space was needed and the data processing and bookkeeping departments were moved to the building north of the main bank.

The First National Bank of Hope is a lengthy one. With almost 100 years of assisting our customers, we take pride in how we have grown in the communities we support.

The bank moved to 701 Commercial Street in 1956 and remained there until the current Main Bank facility was built in 1975 at 902 Merchant Street.
